Here comes a red fox with some sort of prey—a wood rat?—at 3 a.m. on Sunday, May 23.
Two kits are playing near the spring on Monday, May 24, at 4:20 a.m.
It looks as though Mom (?) is ready to be on her way on Thursday, May 27, at about 2:30 a.m., but someone is chasing her and making a play bow.

You struck a little gold mine in those red foxes. Great pics. Could that be a bushy-tailed woodrat?
Thanks! I'll accept your ID on the woodrat. I am guessing that since the kits were there and the adult was bringing in prey that the den must be somewhere fairly close--there are lots of big boulders and rough terrain nearby for concealment.
