"Forests to Faucets"

Otherwise known as fun with GIS technology.  The site lets you see relationships between forests and drinking water.

You can make maps and download various reports. Some other links from the site:
  • Surface drinking water importance
  • Forest importance to surface drinking water
  • Insect and disease threat to forests important to surface drinking water
  • Wildland fire threat to forests important to surface drinking water
  • Development threat to forests important to surface drinking water
